Inside UA: Advice from Interns-Corrie, Isis, and Kaito
Today marked the end of Corrie, Isis, and Kaito’s Internship at Under Armour, and the trio was kind enough to share some parting words of wisdom.
Corrie (Left)
Position: E-Commerce Marketing Recruit
Responsibilities: I worked with 5 different channels to promote sales back to UA.com
Favorite memory : was hanging out with a bunch of interns on the roof watching the air show!
Most valuable thing I learned: The most valuable piece of information I am taking with me is to always ask questions to get the job done right the first time.
Advice for those want to intern at UA: My advice for anyone trying to become a UA intern… Show your personality and that you have a drive to get things done.
Isis (Middle)
Position: Global Communications and PR Intern
Responsibilities: Seeded packages, wrote new product tech sheets, helped plan and orchestrate product launch events, kept up with product placement, wrote company newsletters and emails.
Favorite Memory: I loved taking the water taxi and trying all of the food – CRAB OVERLOAD!
Most valuable thing learned: Any of Kevin Plank’s sayings. Also, just being aware that where you start off isn’t necessarily where you end up in the workplace. Network, learn, experience.
Advice for those who want to intern at UA: Network! Find things that you have in common with people who’s positions you would one day like to hold and get to know them.
Kaito (Right)
Position: Designer, Ultimate Intern
Responsibilities: Social Media Graphics
Favorite memory : Meeting the footwear team and doing some projects for them.
Most valuable thing learned : Passion, hard work, and drive is always recognized
Advice for those who want to intern at UA: Don’t be afraid to chase after your passion.

Name: Amelia
Nickname: AGV, or as my mentor here at UA calls me “Playaaaaa”
School and year of graduation: Boston College ‘13
Position on the Ultimate Intern Team: Writer
Describe The Ultimate Intern Competition in one word: Intense
Play-by-play of my day: There is no ordinary day here at Under Armour. Every day is completely different from what I imagined and what the day before was like! I do everything from writing copy for the Under Armour Facebook and Twitter accounts, to interviewing Under Armour Athletes on set of photoshoots.
Coolest thing to happen so far at UA: It’s hard to pick just one! Getting to say “I’m on the list” at a VIP event for Ryan Zimmerman’s Zims Foundation Event is way up there, as well as interviewing Pablo Sandoval, Buster Posey, Bryce Harper, and Joel Hanrahan at the MLB All-Star Game! Most of all just being able to contribute to the Brand everyday with my writing and ideas is really an amazing experience as an intern.

Fun fact: I have a cat named Spaghetti. He’s pretty much the coolest cat out there.
Favorite Sport: Hockey, but baseball is really growing on me!
